IBM annonce aujourd’hui le lancement de l’Institute for Advanced Security (IAS) en Europe. Il s’agit d’une extension de l’initiative corporate visant à donner l’accès aux gouvernements et organisations clés à un réseau mondial de recherche, services, et expertise logicielle et technologique dans le domaine de la sécurité. 

Situé à Bruxelles, l’Institute for Advanced Security IBM en Europe est destiné à adresser et réduire l’impact des risques liés à la sécurité du cyber espace en : 
· connectant gouvernements, organisations du secteur privé, universitaires et partenaires aux experts en recherche, logiciels et technologies d’IBM

· aidant les organisations à profiter des nouvelles technologies en matière de sécurité dans les domaines de l’analytique, du cryptage et des technologies de gestion des identités

·offrant aux organisations des ressources incluant podcasts, expertise X-Force, blogs et « best practices » permettant d’aborder les problèmes croissants de sécurité dans les domaines de la cyber-sécurité, du cloud computing et de la gestion des points sensibles

IBM Establishes Institute for Advanced Security in Europe 

Initiative to Foster Cyber security Collaboration with Public and Private Sector Organizations

                                        
BRUSSELS, Belgium. 1 April 2011: IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced the launch of the IBM Institute for Advanced Security in Europe, an expansion of its company-wide initiative to provide government and other key organizations with a global network of security research, services, software and technology expertise. 

Based in Brussels, the IBM Institute for Advanced Security in Europe is designed to help address and mitigate the issues associated with securing cyber space by:

• connecting government and private sector organizations, academics and business partners with IBM research, services, software and technology experts
• helping organizations tap into new security technology in areas such as analytics, privacy-sensitive identity technology and encryption
• and, offering organizations resources including podcasts, X-Force expertise, blogs and best practices that address rising security issues around cyber security, cloud computing and endpoint management.

The Institute will also provide a forum for organizations to understand how recent IBM Research advances -- such as the ability to analyze encrypted information without sacrificing confidentiality -- and wider IBM security expertise can help make decisions based on greater insight, while protecting the privacy and security of critical information.  In addition, the Centre will address specific issues such as mobile device security. 

Additional resources available via the Institute for Advanced Security in Europe include briefings and demonstrations at a number of IBM Research Labs and Executive Briefing Centres, which include IBM Hursley and IBM Zurich Labs.
